It has been nearly nine months for the reason that tragic passing of the rapper Juice WRLD on the age of 21, but the artist, whose meteoric rise used to be marked by emotionally raw lyrics, continues to fall new music. His posthumous album Legends Never Die, which launched in July, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, with sides from Halsey, Marshmello, and more.
His most modern release arrived on Friday (August 7), a soul-wrenching collaboration with The Weeknd known as “Smile.” The label-teamed monitor functions as well-wishes to someone they admire, despite the incontrovertible reality that it diagram they might perhaps perhaps presumably no longer be in that person’s life. “I’d attain something else in my energy to behold you appropriate smile,” Juice WRLD raps.
In September, Juice WRLD first hinted that he and The Weeknd were taking part, tweeting, “Me and The Weeknd would originate a diamond memoir…” Virtually one one year later, on Tuesday (August 4), The Weeknd teased the new single by sharing Juice’s post, then adding a brand new tweet, “XO + 999 Thursday Evening.”
